July 27, 2008   FEDERATION ACCOUNT: The Sharing of N736bn in July 2008 From documents obtained by Nigeria's economic journal, the Economic Confidential a total sum of N736bn was disbursed to the tiers of government as net after deductions in July 2008 at the monthly meeting of the Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) in Abuja. From the disbursement, the highest recipients are mostly oil producing states of Rivers which received N22.9bn, Akwa Ibom N16.5bn, Delta N11.9bn,  Bayelsa N10.4bn and Ondo N7.5bn.
